انجمن صنفی مسوولین فنی صنایع غذایی و آرایشی و بهداشتی گیلان از سال 1380 با مجوز رسمی اداره کار و امور اجتماعی با 150 عضو آغاز به کار نمود.

اعضای انجمن، مسوولین فنی واحد های تولیدی وخدماتی در صنایع غذایی و بهداشتی می باشند.

مسوولین فنی، متخصصانی هستند که دارای شرایط لازم جهت کنترل و نظارت بر تولید در کارگاهها و کارخانجات با مدرک تحصیلی حداقل کارشناسی در رشته تحصیلی مرتبط با صنعت مربوطه باشند و نیز صلاحیت این افراد به تایید کمیته فنی و قانونی رسیده باشد از آنجائیکه مسوولیت نظارت بر اجرایی ضوابط، قوانین بهداشتی واستاندارد ملی به عهده مسئول فنی می باشد، شرح وظایف این افراد را سازمان غذا و داروی وزارت بهداشت تعیین می کند.
